Xtake Finance’s Liquid Staking on Avalanche Testnet guide
Through the Xtake testnet, you can experience the following on the testnet interface: staking, immediate unstaking, and delayed unstaking.
This article is going to guide you on how to use Xtake Liquid Staking on the testnet.
Getting started
1 — Connect Metamask wallet to Avalanche testnet
To use Xtake, you can use the Metamask. It provides the simplest yet most secure way to connect to blockchain-based applications.
To tune into Avalanche, click on the Connect Wallet switch button at the top to connect to Avalanche Test Network.
Then click on Sign to authenticate the wallet connection.
2 — Get AVAX on Avalanche Tesnet
Get your wallet address from Metamask plugin.
The next step is to obtain test AVAX to use on the Avalanche Test Network.
You can obtain test AVAX from AVAX Fuji Testnet Faucet. You need to enter your wallet address and click REQUEST AVAX button.
3 — Stake AVAX on Xtake Finance to get xAVAX
Step1: Visit Xtake Testnet.
Step2: Connect your Metamask wallet.
Step3- In the “Stake” section, type in the amount of AVAX you want to stake.
Step4- Click the “Stake” button
Step5- “Confirm” the transaction in your wallet.
You will receive confirmation of your AVAX staked, and get xAVAX in return.
Step6- Import token address of xAVAX
If you don't see you xAVAX tokens in your wallet, kindly import the token with address 0x9C83e39fF8c666A0737330e0da6e135d8A2D91a1.
This address may change with upgrades on Testnet, kindly understand Testnet Funds are not real.
4— Unstake xAVAX on Xtake Finance to get AVAX
Unstaking your AVAX on Avalanche is also as simple as it gets. All you have to do is:
- Visit https://testnet.xtake.finance/.
- Connect your Metamask wallet.
- In the “Unstake” section, type in the amount of xAVAX you want to unstake.
- Select “UNSTAKE NOW” or “UNSTAKE IN 14 DAYS” option.
- Click the “Unstake” button and confirm the transaction in your wallet.
